ABOUT THE SPEAKERS

Gabor G. S. Takach
Torys LLP

Head of technology contracting in Torys’ Technology Group, Gabe Takach brings many years of experience in mergers, acquisitions, and corporate and commercial law to an information technology practice. He acts for start-up software ventures as well as consumers of services and equipment. Gabe’s clients include Vertex Data Science Limited, Canada Post, CIBC/Wood Gundy, Petro-Canada, Purolator, National Bank Financial, Ontario Power Generation, Toronto Hydro, TD Bank Financial Group and The Globe and Mail.

Eric Boehm
Torys LLP

Eric Boehm is an associate in the firm’s Technology Group. His practice focuses on outsourcing, system development agreements, technology services arrangements and Internet and e-commerce matters. Eric has extensive Canadian and international experience advising on complex information technology and intellectual property transactions, including joint ventures, mergers, acquisitions and other strategic relationships.

COST FOR ATTENDANCE

Cost for lunch: $10 for members and students, $15 for non-members, payable at the meeting. Receipts will be available. Cheques should be made payable to the Toronto Computer Lawyers’ Group.

Renew your membership for 2005-2006. The fee to join the TCLG for 2005-2006 is $30. Law students enrolled in full-time studies may join free of charge. Membership runs from September to August, and the TCLG meets monthly from September to May.
