TOPIC

Technology is constantly evolving and changing the way we work. The pace of change is accelerating, particularly as lawyers respond to the pressure to do more with less. We will be joined by representatives from three Canadian companies whose products are helping lawyers respond to these pressures and work more efficiently.

  • Silanis Technology: a leading provider of an electronic signatures solution which is quickly becoming the standard for securely executing contracts online;
  • Closing Folders: an online closing room that allows lawyers to close complex corporate transactions with ease and certainty using interactive closing agendas and automatically-generated signing packages; and
  • Kira Inc.: an artificial intelligence due diligence tool that automatically analyzes contracts and summarizes the key terms of  agreements.

These innovators will introduce us to some of the established and up and coming technological tools lawyers are using today. A moderator will help lead a question and answer session with the panelists covering topical questions lawyers may have about these products. Attendees are invited to bring their questions as well.

Lunch will be served at noon and the presentation will begin at 12:30.
