PROFILE

The mission of the Toronto Computer Lawyers' Group is to provide opportunities for education and information sharing among its members about issues related to information technology, multimedia and telecommunications law, and to promote networking among its members.

The Toronto Computer Lawyers' Group was formed in 1984 by several lawyers in the Toronto area who were interested in getting together on a regular basis over lunch to discuss the law and computer technology. Since then, the membership of the TLCG has grown to more than 150 lawyers who work primarily in private practice or for corporations.

The topics addressed at TCLG meetings have expanded beyond traditional computer law issues, reflecting the convergence of diverse industries brought about through the power of digital technology.

With our web site, listserver, hypertext links and email, we can now also extend our reach across Canada and around the world to lawyers who share a common interest.
