March 2008 Meeting
MEETING:
The next meeting of the Toronto Computer Lawyers' Group (TCLG) is being held on Friday, March 7th, 2008 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m., at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP, First Canadian Place, 100 King Street West, 66th Floor, Toronto.
TOPIC: Minimizing the Risk of Infringement
Jonathan Cutler will discuss how the use of freedom-to-operate studies in the software industry can enable better management of infringement risks. Jonathan will also provide practical advice on patent protection during product development phases.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
Jonathan Cutler is a partner in Osler's Intellectual Property Department. As a former Director of Intellectual Property at Bombardier Recreational Products, Jonathan has extensive experience in the development and exploitation of global patent portfolios, as well as in dealing with patent protection and patent avoidance.
COST FOR ATTENDANCE:
Cost for lunch: ten dollars ($10) for members and students, twenty dollars ($20) for non-members, payable at the meeting. Receipts will be available. Cheques should be made payable to the Toronto Computer Lawyers' Group.

REGISTER BEFORE 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 6, 2008.
REGISTRATIONS WILL NOT BE CONFIRMED UNLESS THE LUNCH IS FULLY BOOKED.
Substitutions are permitted anytime. Registrants who do not attend and do not cancel or send a substitute may be invoiced for lunch.
